Lil Uzi Vert Interview

This interview was almost a year in the making. Finally caught him. He’s not that tiny in person everyone makes it seem like he’s 5’2. He’s actually like 5’7 and built. Like he hits the gym fs. He made everyone in the room so comfy and kicked it w us for about an hour and a half before the formal interview. We met at his pop up for pink tape merch w John Ross. I was talking to John for a while, he’s a cool dude. Anyways here it is:

R: what’s your favorite tattoo right now?

U: My favorite tattoo.

R: Your favorite tattoo on you right now.

U: None of them. None of, I'm trying to get 'em removed.

R: Really?

U: All of them.

R: why?

U: I wanna go corporate

R: What inspired your cosplay of 2015 Young Thug?

U: He’s my favorite artist. Favorite living artist.

R: Was it barter six for you?

U: nods.

R: That was a time.  When are you and Pharrell gonna work again? I need some of that.

U: I got a whole, I got a whole arsenal of like 30 songs up with him. For real.

R: I bet you got so many different projects with so many different people.

U: I really don't though, I just got a whole bunch of like single songs. But I do got a lot of songs from him.

R: Can we expect them or you think it's gonna be vaulted forever?

Uzi: yeah just gotta go in on the production, 'cause it's kind of dated.

R: who is your favorite artist right now?

U: Probably Ken Carson.

R: Ken Carson. I could have guessed that. Waste of a question. Okay that’s it, I won’t take up any more of your time. Thank you Uzi!

U: Oh that’s it? (Surprised it was so short)

R: yeah! I told you: just a couple fun questions.

He thought I was gonna be on some dick riding shit or ask him some wack ass question about Carti. He was so subdued during the interview bc he was waiting on a bad question but the second we were done we were all laughing and smiling again.
